Chelsea Bain grew up riding horses—a pastime that became serious. A testament to her prowess, she won a dozen national and world championship titles from the American Paint Horse Association. “I’m always up for a good challenge,” she says. “Growing up in that environment made me incredibly passionate about anything I’m involved in.” Bain has since transferred that passion to music, and spent many weekends singing the National Anthem at the Phoenix International Raceway. When a producer heard her, she was invited to serve as the opening act for a Tim McGraw show in Scottsdale. Now touring behind her debut EP, All American Country Girl, Bain carries a predestined sense of responsibility to her craft. “Music’s been in my blood since before I can even remember,” she says. “I’ve never wanted to do anything else for the long term—and now that I’ve tapped into my creative process, I want to get out there and inspire people through my music.”
