SESAC Welcomes City Winery to Nashville:
SESAC’s Ellen Bligh Truley and husband, actor Todd Truley (“Nashville,” “Homeland,”Grudge Match, Prisoners) were on hand to welcome Michael Dorf, New York entrepreneur and City Winery’s CEO, to town at a special reception at the event space in advance of the establishment’s opening this Fall. Located at 609 LaFayette Street, City Winery Nashville will transform an existing 30,000 square-foot warehouse into a sophisticated, downtown hotspot–the first of its kind in Music City–with an intimate 300-seat concert hall, restaurant and private dining operation, as well as a fully-functional winery. The restaurant’s official Grand Opening is slated for October 1, but will be the site of the Americana Music Association’s Honors & Awards VIP After Party a couple weeks earlier on September 17. City Winery’s upcoming concert schedule includes shows with Mindi Smith, Sinéad O’Connor and Wood Brothers. City Winery Nashville is the newest addition to the prestigious City Winery venues, which includes locations in New York, Chicago and Napa Valley, Calif.
