It doesn’t take a Creed or Alter Bridge fan to appreciate the new PRS SE Mark Tremonti Custom. Revamped and decked out with so many upgrades it hardly resembles the original SE Tremonti, the Custom model splits the difference between PRS’s budget-friendly SE lineup and their highly revered standard series. A maple neck and body provide a powerful voice, whose snap and sparkle are captured in every detail by a pair of SE 245 humbuckers. The wide-thin neck carve is also a major improvement, adding fast action that will delight any technical guitar player. PRS even equipped the Custom with their tremolo bridge, a feature normally out of reach for an SE model.
