Songs like the album\u2019s opener \u201cRebel Beat,\u201d \u201cWhen the World Breaks Your Heart\u201d and \u201cCaught in the Storm\u201d brim with big, buoyant hooks and empty sentiments. It\u2019s basically the Goo Goo Dolls on autopilot, doubling back after the misstep of the burden-heavy <i>Something for the Rest of Us<\/i>.
