It\u2019s a foot-stomping rallying cry, cut with whirring bagpipes. Whereas <i>Out in Style<\/i> centered on a fictional character, <i>Signed and Sealed<\/i> finds the septet telling personal tales wrapped in frenzied fusions of reels, punk anthems, jigs and barroom rockers. \u201cPrisoner\u2019s Song,\u201d a gloriously salty sea shanty etched with mandolin and snarling vocals, nods to Dropkick\u2019s grimy version of \u201cI\u2019m Shipping Up to Boston.\u201d Mumford &amp; Sons banjoist Winston Marshall guests on \u201cRose Tattoo,\u201d giving the raw tale of family bonds a muted folk edge. But the band has always buried sentiment in street punk, and even the break-up ditty \u201cDon\u2019t Tear Us Apart\u201d is a raucous rocker.
