Sassy and suggestive, McCue amps up the attitude and borrows liberally from both Melissa Etheridge and the early blues-based version of Fleetwood Mac. \u201cRock \u2019n\u2019 Roll Outlaw,\u201d \u201cBroken Promise Land\u201d and \u201cLonesome Child\u201d show her partiality to blues and boogie, but it\u2019s the seductive wail of \u201cOl\u2019 Black Sky\u201d and the sinister-sounding \u201cMotorcycle Dream\u201d that best reflect her talents.
