Singer Jason Ringenberg and guitar foil Warren E. Hodges are in full roar, aided by a new rhythm section and ace collaborators like Dan Baird, Tommy Womack and producer Brad Jones. They raise a ruckus on sturdy rockers like \u201cMoonshine Guy\u201d and \u201cDays of Wine and Roses,\u201d while finding poignancy on reflection in personal fare such as \u201cBeat on the Mountain\u201d and \u201cGolden Days.\u201d \u201cLooking back now it seems to be\/This old life\u2019s been good to me,\u201d Ringenberg concludes on the latter.
