On the overdrive side, there are all the goodies that go with the Pigtronix FAT Drive, most notably a cascading-diode-based gain-mashing system that ranges from bluesy breakup to over-the-top metal solo tones with the flip of a switch and tweak of a knob. Meanwhile the Philosopher\u2019s Rock side provides nearly endless clean sustain plus the option to engage a Germanium-transformer-based Grit control for frothy, fuzz-style distortion.
