The\u00a0HMMA recognizes and honors the music of visual mediums, the talented\u00a0individuals responsible for creating, producing and placing it, and the music of\u00a0artists, both mainstream and independent, from around the globe. The event\u00a0features live music performances, celebrity appearances, award presentations, a\u00a0VIP reception, and exclusive dinner banquet. The entire event is shot in HD for\u00a0global broadcasts.<\/p>\n<p>WHO: Hosted by master musical impressionist Greg London, the HMMA will\u00a0feature celebrity guest presenters including actor Eric Roberts, Adam Gaynor,\u00a0formerly of Matchbox 20, Gilby Clarke (Guns n\u2019 Roses, Rock Star: Supernova) and\u00a0many more TBA. Nominated film scores &amp; composers include John Williams,\u00a0Lincoln; Alexandre Desplat, Rise of the Guardians; Thomas Newman, Skyfall;\u00a0Howard Shore, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey; Jonny Greenwood, The\u00a0Master; Mychael Danna, Life of Pi; Joe Kraemer, Jack Reache and Marco Beltrami,\u00a0The Sessions. Other nominations for TV, Film, Video Game, Soundtrack Album,\u00a0Movie Trailer and Song categories are now selected. The HMMA is the only music\u00a0award show to include categories for Outstanding Music Supervision in TV and\u00a0Film.
