As the song opens, doctors rocket a sickly child into space, and after a few years in orbit, he returns \u201cwith a smile as big as the whole world.\u201d Formed in Vermont, this markedly un-hip trio logged mad miles in the \u201990s, becoming an unrivaled\u2014and unlikely\u2014live phenomenon. Here, they show why. Dispatch does briskly strummed, instantly likeable acoustic pop, occasionally sidestepping into Americana (\u201cJosaphine\u201d), folkie rap \u201cNot Messin\u2019\u201d and quasi-Eastern fare (\u201cSign of the Times\u201d).
