Sometimes the music is lush, stacking layers of vocals over glittering keyboard vamps on \u201cHide Me\u201d or gliding ahead on the relentless beat and Trappes\u2019 breathy voice on \u201cSolid Gold.\u201d Sometimes it\u2019s stripped down, as on \u201cNerida\u2019s Gone,\u201d in which mournful strings float over spare piano. The inscrutable songs are hypnotic and opaque enough to reflect whatever it is you want to see while lost in their swirling embrace.
