It\u2019s also the seven-piece band\u2019s most cohesive, and arguably best, record to date. A few new faces have been added to the mix, including Jason Mraz, who co-wrote the beachy album opener \u201cJump Right In.\u201d Trombone Shorty contributes horns to the steamy slow jam \u201cOvernight,\u201d while Amos Lee joins Brown for \u201cDay That I Die.\u201d \u201cThe Wind\u201d is a twangy romp that allows the band to show off its impressive picking skills and tight harmonies. A handful of more serious tunes, including \u201cSweet Annie\u201d and \u201cLance\u2019s Song,\u201d provide <em>Uncaged<\/em> more depth than previous releases.
