Featuring Starlite Desperation frontman Dante White-Aliano and a pack of his wacky buds, DVZ makes \u201950s novelty rock with hints of surf and Afro-pop. \u201cThere\u2019s a goth barbecue, and we\u2019d like to invite you,\u201d White-Aliano yelps in the opening seconds, preparing you for horror-comedy songs about ghosts, zombies and the Hollywood showbiz scene. \u201cWatermelon Iodine\u201d is his four-minute pitch for a zany movie that really ought to get made\u2014it\u2019s already got a killer soundtrack.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DANTE VS.
