Mirth and melancholy are present in equal measure, from the humor infused in \u201cMy Meds\u201d (\u201cIf the side effects don\u2019t kill me, meds might save my life\u201d) and \u201cI Remember Sex\u201d (a brassy duet with the wacky Dame Edna) to the pathos of the piano ballad \u201cIn C\u201d (\u201cI grew up and had a family, and it broke apart so easily\u201d).
