Logan Mize doesn\u2019t have Petty\u2019s sarcastic seen-it-all wit, but he\u2019s still young\u2014and besides, his outlook is fundamentally sunnier. Mize bucks rock clich\u00e9s and yearns for the simple domestic life on \u201cSunflowers,\u201d declaring, \u201cI\u2019d give anything for a front-porch view.\u201d Elsewhere, singing songs about girls who\u2019ve done him wrong, he packages rousing Petty jangle with faint banjo and steel guitar.
