Sure, Robert Schneider still has that sunny voice that would make any Grandma want to pinch his cheeks for all eternity. But this is the Archies meets ELO meets <em>Saturday Night Fever<\/em>\u2014in short, the most ass-shaking thing the band has ever done. <em>Travellers<\/em> is a reminder of a time when dance music wasn\u2019t guided by assaultive \u201cthump-thump\u201d bass lines, and when hooking up with a complete stranger after a night at a club posed a much smaller risk to your health. If there\u2019s a point to the title and some of the space-age production values, you won\u2019t catch it.
