That goes for the sun\u2014the thematic centerpiece of this aptly named album\u2014and for the half-century of sounds these Denver dudes draw from. With its slippery bass and unlikely blend of wah-wah and chicken-scratch guitars, opener \u201cI\u2019ll Reach out My Hand\u201d kicks things off in a funky fog. From there, the band tries \u201cTequila\u201d-style \u201950s rock and rides \u201cBeast of Burden\u201d-era Stones grooves; on \u201cFreaks and Geeks\u201d they let loose with some mangy punk.
