The newly reformulated NANOWEB for Bass delivers tone and feel even closer to uncoated strings than Elixir\u2019s original offering. (For reference\u2019s sake, a set of the original Elixir NANOWEBs shipped on the Ibanez we reviewed in the fall, and they <em>still<\/em> sound great.) Here we tested the new Elixir Stainless Steel 5-String set on our vintage Tobias and the tone and feel was wonderfully consistent across the entire neck.
