The Clinton years also gave us Magnapop, Letters to Cleo and the Muffs\u2014female-fronted pop-punk bands whose spirits live on in the music of SorryEverAfter. Formed in August 2011 in San Francisco, this gang of veteran rockers breezes through its debut EP, wasting nary a second on these short and punchy jams. Whether swooning (\u201cStay Up Late\u201d) or scorned (\u201cPill\u201d), singer Lynda Mandolyn sprinkles candied melodies all around, counterbalancing the fuzzy guitars and dancing bass.
