Amid the gloom of the opening \u201cArt of Almost,\u201d Tweedy is the dark-clothed loner with his head down. Yet he\u2019s the same man who, on the closing \u201cOne Sunday Morning (Song for Jane Smiley\u2019s Boyfriend),\u201d can shut his eyes and achieve a seemingly cosmic father-son connection straight out of Terrence Malick\u2019s film <em>The Tree of Life<\/em>.
