BearFoot FX blends pedal guru Bjorn Juhl\u2019s inspired designs with DonnerBox\u2019s craftsmanship for a range of pedals more accessible and affordable to the U.S. market. The Dyna Red succeeds where all too many distortion pedals have failed\u2014creating amp-like distortion in a box. We were impressed with the depth, warmth and amp-like qualities of this pedal. At lower gain settings it delivered a tapestry of creamy tones intuitively responsive to touch and the volume control. Bringing the gain up on a drop-D tuning brought out some of the tastiest heavy tones we\u2019ve heard from a distortion pedal.
