There was her 2003 <em>Swing<\/em> set, as well as a Christmas album. As the title of her new album suggests, she\u2019s now taking on classic American folk songs\u2014and it proves to a perfect pairing. Bogguss doesn\u2019t gussy up these traditional tunes, which span the country from the \u201cErie Canal\u201d to the \u201cRed River Valley.\u201d Her simple, straightforward approach carries to her singing.
