These Japanese rockers have been kicking out the jams since the mid-\u201990s, but as this digital-only, career-spanning sampler points out, their sound is pure 1970: Stooges punk meets Sly Stone funk. Songs like \u201cWay In\/Way Out\u201d and \u201cGet It Together\u201d start out as conventional bluesy garage tunes, but the Bombs stretch them out with organ vamps and percussive breaks, regularly stretching past the six-minute mark.
