Taking full advantage of producer Lazerbeak\u2019s plethora of sounds\u2014horn samples, reggae riddims and even noodling electric guitar\u2014the MC born Andrew Sims blasts materialistic mainstream rappers and modern consumer culture. He\u2019s a nimble rhymer who can get political without sounding preachy. On \u201cOne Dimensional Man\u201d he shows his humorous side, dissing supposed do-gooders who join food co-ops and donate to NPR.
