TRUTH & SALVAGE CO. FORMED IN 2005, GROWING OUT of late-night jam sessions at Hotel Caf\u00e9 in Hollywood, where singer and guitarist Tim Jones served as talent booker. they eventually captured the attention of Black Crowes lead singer Chris Robinson, who produced their self-titled debut album and picked Truth & Salvage Co. to open for the Crowes on tour last year. \u201cIf you keep on doing something long enough, the people are going to hear about it,\u201d singer and guitarist Scott Kinnebrew says, \u201cespecially if it is awesome.\u201d the group has no shortage of material, featuring among its ranks four lead singers and songwriters whose influences span the roots of rock and country. \u201cchoosing the songs we want to perform requires humility and gratitude,\u201d Kinnebrew says of his band, whose members variously hail from georgia, louisiana, Indiana, Mississippi and Ohio. \u201cBut that\u2019s easy, because we have known and worked with each other for a long time now.
