The Keith McMillen SoftStep is one of the most intriguing devices we\u2019ve come across in a long time. Simply calling it a USB controller doesn\u2019t suffice\u2014McMillen has dubbed the SoftStep a mouse for your feet, and we\u2019re inclined to agree. The idea of being able to arm tracks and control the transport in Pro Tools with your hands otherwise occupied is appealing enough, but that\u2019s just the beginning.
