Each of the Opto 8\u2019s channels feature gain and output controls as well as pad, low cut and phase switches for lots of useful functionality. You can dial in as much tube clipping as needed with the gain control, which in turn feeds the output control for setting the channel level before hitting the A\/D converter. The back panel sports eight XLR\/quarter-inch combo inputs, ADAT and word clock I\/O.
