Veteran photographer Jeff Fasano has 1 day to go for his Kickstarter campaign\u2014to publish his first fine-art book: AMERICANA PORTRAIT SESSIONS<\/em>.<\/p>\n

We talked with Jeff Fasano about his portrait of THE WAR AND TREATY<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p>\n

This was shot when The War and Treaty hosted the Gospel Brunch at AmericanaFest at City Winery. It was a Sunday morning show. I was backstage and told them I had done all the photos hanging on the walls at City Winery. They say, \u201cOh, wow! These are great.\u201d I asked them if they wanted me to take some photos of them and they wanted to try something different.<\/p>\n

I actually met them earlier at Bonnaroo. I was on the press list for portraits and their representative said, \u201cI have this husband and wife called The War and Treaty\u201d\u2014would you like to take photos of them. It\u2019s funny because at that time I had no idea who they were. We realized we all lived in Nashville, and then I saw them around town all the time.<\/p>\n

Their music is great\u2014they both can really sing. Michael has an amazing voice. They both sing so well. And they are really sweet people.<\/p>\n
