Nevertheless, the group maintains their breezy, accessible sound on songs like \u201cWhat Took So Long\u201d and \u201cUncertain\u201d by balancing eerier moments with a strong, solid undertow. They frequently drift to opposing extremes, with the trudging \u201cTidelands\u201d and \u201cDown the Well\u201d encompassing darker designs, while \u201cEmpress of the North\u201d and \u201cA Lot of People on My Mind\u201d get acoustic accompaniment.
