Top female country singers\u2014Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson, Lee Ann Womack, Faith Hill\u2014offer up their heartfelt and mostly faithful covers of Lynn classics alongside non-Music Row acts like Paramore and the White Stripes. One downside on tribute discs like these is a lack of cohesiveness, as when Reba McEntire\u2019s Western swing-y \u201cIf You\u2019re Not Gone Too Long\u201d gets followed by Kid Rock\u2019s take on \u201cI Know How,\u201d as well as conspicuous absences in song selection (like \u201cFist City\u201d).
