Your job is to make people feel something,\u201d she says. \u201cThe best way to do that is to sing and speak to something they\u2019ve personally been through.\u201d Streeter first achieved prominence in the music industry as a songwriter for Alicia Keys and Brandy\u2014and she co-wrote several tracks on Chris Brown\u2019s albums <i>F.A.M.E<\/i>. and <i>Fortune<\/i>. \u201cGrowing up I always wanted to be a singer, and I\u2019ve done that,\u201d she says. \u201cBut over the past three years, I\u2019ve been a writer. I\u2019ve had the honor to be in sessions with great artists.\u201d Now signed to Atlantic Records, Streeter is putting the finishing touches on her as-yet-untitled debut album. \u201cIf it feels rock \u2019n\u2019 roll, I want you to feel that,\u201d she says. \u201cIf it feels \u201990s R&amp;B, I want you to feel that.
