Isaac felt it, too\u2014sensed everyone\u2019s appreciation. At one point he stopped and went, \u2018Wow!\u2019\u201d Hayes was obviously depleted. \u201cHe just looked so tired,\u201d says Seeff. \u201cI set up a table and placed something soft on top, so he could lie there and relax. As things wound down he was looking at me with these big, tired eyes. Eventually he drifted off.\u201d It was a satisfying session for Seeff. \u201cI wanted to capture this other side of Isaac,\u201d he says, \u201cthe deeply sensitive artist and writer.
