It is difficult to explain how this works other than to say—it’s magic. Adding texture and space, it seems to create a very musical 3D quality to rough mixes. Try using this on the master bus after EQ and before compression or limiting. A favorite preset under the “Mixing and FX” directory is “Add Body and Width.” You’ll want to be judicious with the width and the low end, but it can take your mixes from B&W to color.
