image001Carl Verheyen is known for his work as the guitarist of the English rock band Supertramp. With over a dozen solo albums, he continues to be a strong session musician. His credits include Christina Aguilera, the Bee Gees, Cher, Kilauea, Tiffany, Rick Braun, Richard Elliott, and many more. He can also be heard on a wide range of Hollywood soundtracks.

In the early years, he was primarily a jazz guitarist. But over the years, he has extended his palette to include other genres, including rock, trading guitar solos with Joe Bonamassa, Steve Morse, Robben Ford, Scott Henderson, Albert Lee and Rick Vito.

Carl Verheyen has become a strong force in the music industry. His excellent new offering, The Grand Design, was recorded at Sweetwater Studios in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and was engineered and produced by its Director of Operations, Mark Hornsby.

Grand Designs is a music documentary directed by award-winning filmmaker Nigel Dick. This exciting film chronicles Carl’s life, work, and the recording of his recently released album, The Grand Design.
