Breedlove Guitars Adds New Burst Finish to Oregon Series Acoustic Guitars
Gorgeous semi-gloss Whiskey Burst adds a visual depth to these two acclaimed instruments
The new Oregon Dreadnought Burst and Concert Burst models offer the same solid-wood construction that has made the Oregon Series so desirable: locally sourced, solid myrtlewood for the back and sides; a Sitka spruce top; hard rock maple for the neck and ebony fretboard. LR Baggs electronics ensure a plugged-in sound that accurately reproduces each model’s distinctive voice.
The Dreadnought Burst delivers the same stout projection synonymous with Breedlove dreadnoughts, with the myrtlewood providing lively tone that has midrange richness and depth and outstanding clarity. The Concert Burst provides all-around balance, with well-rounded tone that also embraces the dynamic nature of myrtlewood. The Whiskey Burst finish now provides another visual option for players pursuing an instrument that looks as unique as it sounds.
The Oregon Dreadnought Burst and Oregon Concert Burst guitars are available now, with an MSRP of $2,265. All Oregon Series models include a deluxe hardshell case and are handcrafted in Bend, Oregon, U.S.A.
Their most popular series gets a new addition for their 25th Anniversary celebration. Built off Breedlove’s innovative concert body and including a piece of the Kim Breedlove inspired 25th Anniversary inlay the Oregon Concert CE 25th includes a full gloss whisky burst. The concert body generates wonderfully articulate range of tone with an ample low end that is never boomy. It is engineered to provide exception sustain with a pronounced bass response. MSRP $2,665
